What AI visibility costs a med spa

Our price, what it buys, and how to judge what anyone else quotes you.

Published September 8, 2026 by KKV Labs LLC. $1,000 a month, 3-month minimum as it takes time to show results, named by AI in 90 days or every dollar back.

Short answer

We charge $1,000 a month with a 3-month minimum, because listings, pages and reviews take time to show results and a shorter term would not be honest.

AmSpa puts the average med spa visit at $527 and says 73 percent of patients are repeat patients, so one retained patient pays for months of this.

Local marketing retainers in aesthetics typically run $3,000 to $10,000 a month, usually with no guarantee attached. That is the comparison worth making, not the comparison to doing nothing.

The med spa hub has the live city data behind this guide: what AI answers today in 20 US cities, and what we found on the websites there.

What we charge and why the minimum exists

$1,000 a month, 3-month minimum as it takes time to show results, then month to month. No setup fee and nothing sold separately.

The minimum is not a lock in tactic. Structured data and listing corrections often show up in answers within weeks, but being named consistently across ten different patient questions takes 60 to 90 days, because pages have to be published and reviews have to accumulate before an assistant treats a clinic as the obvious answer. Selling a one month engagement would be selling an outcome we could not deliver.

It is also what backs our guarantee: if your clinic is not named by day 90 you get all three months back, and you keep everything we built.

The math from the other side

AmSpa's 2024 industry report puts the average med spa visit at $527 and reports that 73 percent of patients are repeat patients. So one new patient who stays is not a $527 event. She is $527 plus whatever she comes back for.

Against a $1,000 monthly fee, a single retained patient covers most of a month, and a handful of them over a quarter covers the engagement. That is the arithmetic to run before you look at any vendor's deck, including ours.

The reason the arithmetic works at all is that the same report says 89 percent of med spa patients are women and 54 percent are 35 to 54, which is precisely the group that has moved fastest to asking an assistant instead of scrolling a results page. BrightLocal's 2026 survey found 45 percent of US consumers now use an AI tool for local business recommendations, up from 6 percent a year earlier.

What the fee actually buys

  • A dated baseline

Ten real patient questions for your city, run in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Mode, with screenshots, before any work starts.

  • The website work

AI readable fixes, or a rebuild of up to ten pages if the site cannot be fixed, plus MedicalBusiness, Service and FAQPage structured data.

  • The listing spine

Google Business Profile and Bing Places overhaul, then Apple Maps, Yelp, RealSelf and the Alle and Aspire provider locators, all matching.

  • Treatment pages, monthly

Two to four new pages a month, written the way patients ask: cost ranges, pain, downtime, results timeline and candidacy.

  • A review engine

The request flow, the templates and the reply templates, drafted for you and sent by your front desk.

  • Proof every 30 days

The same ten questions re run, screenshotted and scored, so you can see movement rather than take our word for it.

How this compares

Local marketing retainers in aesthetics typically run $3,000 to $10,000 a month for social management, ads management and general SEO. Those are different services and some clinics need them. What they usually do not include is any commitment about whether an assistant names you.

Doing it yourself is genuinely possible and this whole guide series is the instruction manual. The real cost is attention: the listing audit is an afternoon, each treatment page is a few hours to write and get reviewed, and the review flow has to survive staff changes. Clinics that have that attention should keep the money.

How to judge any vendor, including us

  • Ask for the baseline first

Anyone selling this should be able to show you what an assistant says about your city today, with dated screenshots, before you sign anything.

  • Ask what happens if it does not work

A specific pass condition and a specific consequence beats enthusiasm. Ours is naming in at least 5 of the 10 agreed questions on at least 2 of the 3 tools by day 90.

  • Ask who owns the work

The pages, the markup and the listings should stay yours if you leave. If a vendor keeps your website hostage, that is the answer to the whole question.

  • Walk away from guarantees of position

Nobody controls what a model says. What can be controlled is the choice of markets, the quality of the work, and whether the vendor tells you honestly that your city is already owned.

The short version

What to do this week.

Six things, in order. None of them needs a developer, an agency or a budget, and every one of them is checkable by you.

  1. 01Work out what one retained patient is worth to your clinic over a year.
  2. 02Run your ten questions yourself and save the dated screenshots as your baseline.
  3. 03Price the do it yourself version in hours: the listing audit, the treatment pages, the review flow.
  4. 04Ask any vendor you are considering for a dated baseline before you sign.
  5. 05Ask them what counts as a pass, and what happens if they miss it.
  6. 06Check that whatever gets built stays yours if you leave.

Questions

What med spa owners ask about this.

Why is there a 3-month minimum?
Because that is how long it takes to show results. Listings and structured data can move within weeks, but consistent naming across ten questions takes 60 to 90 days, and the guarantee is measured at day 90.
What happens if we are not named by day 90?
You get 100 percent of the three months back and you keep the website, the pages, the structured data and the listings we built.
Is $1,000 a month cheap or expensive for this?
Local marketing retainers in these industries typically run $3,000 to $10,000 a month, usually without any commitment about outcomes. Against one retained patient at an average visit of $527, with 73 percent of patients being repeat patients, the arithmetic is usually straightforward.
Do you work with more than one med spa in a city?
No. One business per industry per city. The first clinic to sign locks the market, and if a competitor signed first we will decline to work with you.
Can we do this ourselves?
Yes, and these guides are the instructions. The cost is attention rather than money: an afternoon on listings, a few hours per treatment page, and a review habit that survives staff changes.
