We publish the data we run on.

Two reports, both built from our own screening rather than from a survey or a guess. Every number on them is computed from the same file the city pages render from, so a report and a page can never disagree. Free to read and free to cite, with attribution.

Both reports are recomputed on every build from the same data file the city pages read, so a figure here and a figure on a city page are the same figure.

Screened, not surveyed.

What the free check includes

We built a screener that opens a med spa website and records three things a machine can check without opinion: whether the homepage carries structured data, whether it declares a mobile viewport, and what year the footer claims. It has been through 1,531 sites in 245 cities across 46 states.

Separately we ask Google AI Mode who the best med spa is in each city, from a fresh logged-out session, and record the clinics it names and the date. 198 cities have a captured answer so far.

The clinic lists are dated snapshots of what one answer said on one day. They are not rankings, not endorsements, and not a claim about any clinic's quality. Re-run the question yourself and you may see something different, which is the whole point of measuring it monthly.

What people ask about this data.

Where does this data come from?
From our own screening. We open med spa websites one by one and record three mechanical checks, and we ask Google AI Mode the same question in each city from a fresh logged-out session. So far that is 1,531 websites in 245 cities and 198 captured answers. Nothing is bought, licensed or estimated.
Can I cite these numbers?
Yes, free of charge. Name KKV Labs as the source and link to the report page so your reader can see the date and the method. If you want the city table as a file, email us and we will send it.
Is a clinic named in the answer better than one that is not?
No, and we do not say that anywhere. The lists are a dated snapshot of what one AI answer said on one day. They are not rankings, not endorsements, and not a judgement about any clinic's work.
How often is this updated?
We re-run the checks as we screen new markets and re-check old ones. Every figure on the reports is computed from the data file at build time, so the page updates the moment the file does, and every AI answer carries the date it was captured.
Why only med spas?
Because that is where we have enough data to say anything honest. We do the same work for law firms, dentists, chiropractors, HVAC companies and other local businesses, but we will not publish an index for an industry until we have screened enough of it.
