These are AI visibility case studies from four properties in four countries, each one built, ranked and cited before the method went into a client build.

The four properties

  1. 01
A safety compliance document product for contractors

United States. First 79 days, 3 July to 19 September 2026.

  2. 02
A construction document pack for trades

Australia and New Zealand. First 79 days, 3 July to 19 September 2026.

  3. 03
A workplace risk assessment tool for small employers

France. First 71 days, 11 July to 19 September 2026, organic only.

  4. 04
    A devotional app for women

United States. First 30 days, 18 August to 16 September 2026.

How to read this

How to read these AI visibility case studies.

No figure on this page comes from us. Each one is read out of a tool that measures the property itself, on a stated period, and sits in our files as a dated screenshot.

Google Search Console

Clicks, impressions, queries and average position, for the property itself.

Google Search Console, AI features

Google's own count of appearances inside AI Overviews and AI Mode.

Bing Webmaster Tools and Bing AI Performance

Bing clicks and positions, and citations by Copilot and the partners that answer from Bing's index, ChatGPT among them.

Microsoft Clarity

Session recordings, which is how we see a visit arrive from chatgpt.com rather than infer it.

  • Every figure carries its period

A number with no window behind it is a claim, not a measurement. Each one below says the dates it was read over.

  • The properties are described, not named

We say what each one is and which country it sells into. The domains stay ours to run, not ours to advertise.

  • Nothing is rounded up

A count is the count the tool printed. Where a figure is small we print the small figure and say so.

  • The screenshots are shown on a call

Every number here is a dated screenshot in our files. Ask on the call and we will walk you through each one.

The four AI visibility case studies below are in the order they went live. Three are compliance products sold to businesses, and the fourth is a consumer app, which is the one that shows how fast a brand new domain can be picked up. The guarantee is the same method, written as terms.

United States

A safety compliance document product for contractors

First 79 days, 3 July to 19 September 2026. Answer pages, structured data, listings, no link building.

4,800

citations by ChatGPT and Copilot, 6 pages cited per answer

Bing AI Performance, Microsoft Copilots and partners, 6 July to 19 September 2026

159

appearances in Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, across 38 pages

Google Search Console, generative AI features report, 3 July to 19 September 2026

194

Bing clicks at a 3.97% click rate, 469 keywords

Bing Webmaster Tools, 6 July to 19 September 2026

546

different Google queries showing the site

Google Search Console, 3 July to 19 September 2026

The site went live on 3 July 2026 with no domain history, no backlinks and no press. Seventy nine days later Google had shown it for 546 different queries, 3,690 impressions in all, and sent 39 clicks, and Google's own generative AI features report counted 159 appearances inside AI Overviews and AI Mode across 38 different pages. The pages Google's AI picked are the ones that answer a buyer's question in the first line: how much a safety plan costs (24 appearances), whether you can refuse to work when it is too hot (19), a job hazard analysis template (19) and the heat rule requirements state by state (17).

Bing moved faster than Google, which is what we now expect on a new domain. From 6 July to 19 September Bing sent 194 clicks on 4,900 impressions, a 3.97% click rate, across 469 keywords, and the daily line is still climbing. The site sits on page 1 for the buyer's own words: toolbox talks 2026 at position 4.5, toolbox talk sign in sheet at position 3.7 with a 20.9% click rate, toolbox talk topics 2026 at position 5.2, free JHA template word at position 2.

The number that matters for AI is the citation count. Bing's AI Performance report, which covers Microsoft Copilot and the partners that answer from Bing's index, ChatGPT among them, recorded 4,800 citations of the site between 6 July and 19 September, citing 6 pages per answer on average, and the daily count passed 300 for the first time on 15 September. The 32 grounding queries are the buyer's own words: toolbox topics (813 citations), toolbox talks topics (259), toolbox topics for construction (240), safety forms (143), tailgate safety topics (143) and 8 CCR 3395, the California heat rule (127). Session recordings in Microsoft Clarity show the visits arriving from chatgpt.com.

Those visits bought. The product took real paid orders inside its first 90 days, from buyers who arrived on an answer page, read the answer and bought the document the same day. There was no sales team and no follow up sequence, only pages that answer the question the buyer typed.

What we did

  • One page per buyer question, the answer in the first line, the product under it
  • Organization, Product, FAQPage and Article structured data on every page
  • robots.txt open to every AI crawler, llms.txt and a clean sitemap from day one
  • Bing Places and IndexNow so Bing and Copilot saw every new page within hours
  • A state by state hub so the site could be cited for each state's rule
  • No paid links, no directory blasts, no guest posts

Australia and New Zealand

Google Search Console, generative AI features report, 3 July to 19 September 2026

23,000

Google impressions across 1,000 plus queries, 99 clicks

Google Search Console, 3 July to 19 September 2026

Bing AI Performance, Microsoft Copilots and partners, 6 July to 19 September 2026

3.53%

Bing click rate on 1,700 impressions, 365 keywords

Bing Webmaster Tools, 6 July to 19 September 2026

This one covers two countries with two regulators, so the site was built as one hub per trade and one page per document, with a separate New Zealand section that speaks that country's law. The first paid order arrived from search on the day the site went live.

In its first 79 days Google showed the site 23,000 times for more than 1,000 different queries and sent 99 clicks. The biggest single query, electrical swms, alone produced 631 impressions, with swms for electricians (305), electrical swms template (296), plumbing swms (296), carpentry swms (290) and scaffolding swms (276) behind it. Google's generative AI features report counted 539 appearances in AI Overviews and AI Mode across 93 pages, led by the high risk construction work categories page (106), the scaffolding page (51), a swms versus jsa comparison (38), the tilt up and precast page (32), the free risk matrix calculator (22) and the New Zealand page (19).

On Bing the site earned 61 clicks on 1,700 impressions, a 3.53% click rate, across 365 keywords, with page 1 positions for a WorkSafe NZ hazard register template (position 4.3), a 5 by 5 swms risk matrix (position 1.5) and the HSWA amendment act (position 8). Bing's AI Performance report recorded 656 citations by Copilot and its partners between 6 July and 19 September, with high risk work licence check (20), hazard register (18), tool box talks construction (15) and toolbox talk moving plant (14, a 34% share of every citation for that question) as the grounding queries, and Clarity shows visits arriving from chatgpt.com.

Orders kept coming from search after day one. The pattern was the same as the United States property: a tradesperson types the exact document they need, lands on the page that answers it, and buys.

What we did

  • One hub per trade, one page per document, one section per country
  • Product, FAQPage and BreadcrumbList structured data, prices printed on the page
  • A comparison page for the question buyers ask first (this document versus that one)
  • Two free calculators (risk matrix, document cost) that AI answers now cite
  • Regulator names and section numbers written out so an answer engine can verify them
  • Bing Places, IndexNow and an open robots.txt from launch day

France

A workplace risk assessment tool for small employers

First 71 days, 11 July to 19 September 2026, organic only. French answer pages, one per trade, structured data.

95

appearances in Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, across 27 pages

Google Search Console, generative AI features report, 11 July to 19 September 2026

90

citations by ChatGPT and Copilot

Bing AI Performance, Microsoft Copilots and partners, 14 July to 19 September 2026

1,220

Google impressions across 90 French queries, 18 clicks

Google Search Console, 11 July to 19 September 2026

$0

spent on ads since 15 July 2026

Ads paused 15 July 2026; every order since is organic

The French property is the cleanest test of the method because ads were switched off on 15 July 2026 and never switched back on. Every paying customer since then found the site through Google, through Bing or through an AI answer.

In ten weeks Google showed the site 1,220 times for 90 different French queries, sent 18 clicks and counted 95 appearances in AI Overviews and AI Mode across 27 pages. The queries are exactly the ones a small employer types: duerp restaurant (132 impressions), duerp restauration (132), document unique boucherie (30), erp garage automobile (30), duerp boulanger (27). The AI appearances came from the guide for accountants (15), the garage page (11), the guides hub (9), the bakery page (8) and the page on the fine for not having the document (6).

Bing sent 24 clicks on 757 impressions, a 3.17% click rate, across 194 keywords, with page 1 positions for duerp gratuit à télécharger (position 5), duerp à partir de combien de salariés (position 4.1) and duerp institut de beauté (position 2). Bing's AI Performance report recorded 90 citations by Copilot and its partners, most of them in September, and Microsoft Clarity recordings show visits arriving from chatgpt.com.

The orders that followed came in with no ad spend behind them. It is a small market and the numbers are small. The point is the shape: a site ten weeks old, in a language we do not speak at home, cited by AI and paid by customers, on structure and answers alone.

What we did

  • One page per trade, in French, answering the regulatory question in the first line
  • A guides hub the AI answer engines could cite as the overview
  • Product and FAQPage structured data, price on the page
  • The legal references written out in full so an answer can be verified
  • Ads off from 15 July 2026, so the result is organic and AI only

Google Search Console, 18 August to 16 September 2026

26

impressions for one prayer page from a single long question

Google Search Console, query: prayer for mom going back to work after maternity leave

The devotional app's website is the youngest property here and the fastest to be picked up. It went live on 18 August 2026 with structured data on every page from the first deploy, and within 30 days Google had shown it 540 times for 43 different queries, sent 24 clicks at a 4.4% click rate and placed it at an average position of 18.9.

Google's generative AI features report counted 31 appearances in AI Overviews and AI Mode in those 30 days, 16 of them for one page: a prayer for a mother going back to work after maternity leave. That page answers one long, specific question, which is the kind of question AI tools are asked and the kind of page they cite. Two more prayer pages, for the mother of a sick child and for waiting on test results, were picked up next.

Microsoft Clarity shows the visits arriving from Google, from ChatGPT and from other AI tools. Under 30 days from an empty domain to being named in AI answers, with no ads, no press and no links.

What we did

  • One page per prayer, titled with the question a reader actually types
  • Organization, WebSite, Article and FAQPage structured data from the first deploy
  • An open robots.txt, llms.txt and a sitemap submitted on launch day
  • No ads, no links, no press: structure and answers only
