Every AI answer about local businesses rests on three things. Miss one and you drop out even when the other two are strong.

• Readable

  One page per system type and per service, in the words homeowners use. A cost page with a diagnostic fee and installed ranges. A repair or replace page. A brands serviced list. An emergency page with the real policy, plus HVACBusiness and FAQPage structured data.

• Verified

  The same name, address, phone, hours and service area on Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Yelp, Angi, HomeAdvisor, the Better Business Bureau and Nextdoor. ChatGPT search runs on Bing, and Bing Places is the listing almost nobody in your city has touched.

• A maintenance plan page, and an FAQ on every service page

  What the plan costs and includes, then the questions people ask on the phone: how long does a furnace last, why is the system freezing, how often should the filter change.

Put the answer at the top of each page: two or three sentences a reader, or a model, can lift whole and be right.

The job is not being everywhere. It is being identical everywhere. One wrong phone number on one profile is enough for an assistant to name a company it is more sure about.

Seasons, emergencies and the habit that has to change

This trade runs on two spikes: the first hot week and the first cold week. Both send people to an assistant with an urgent question, and the answer they get was built from pages that existed before the spike. Publish the emergency policy, the prices and the brand list in the quiet weeks.

The habit that has to change is call for pricing. An assistant cannot call you, so a page that hides every number gives it nothing to repeat.

Keep the claims plain. Do not promise a system will last a fixed number of years, do not promise a rebate a utility has not approved, and do not say 24/7 unless somebody answers at 2am. If you hold a licence or a manufacturer certification, state the number and link the record that proves it. Ask for reviews while the technician is still in the driveway.
