Short answer

Homeowners do not only ask who the best electrician is. They ask about a panel price, an EV charger, breakers that keep tripping, a standby generator and who pulls the permit. Each answer is drawn from a different page, so an electrician can be named for one and missing from the next.

EV chargers show it best. Of the 459 electrician homepages we read on October 2, 2026, EV charger installation is stated on 61% of the sites AI named and 34% of the rest, the widest gap on the list. A price of any kind shows on only 7%.

That is why our guarantee is counted over 10 agreed questions, not one. Being named once can be luck. Being named across most of the ten is a position you can check every month.

The pattern

Why one name is luck.

There is room in the answer. In all 60 cities, Google AI Mode named at least 4 electricians, and 5.4 on average. In Abilene, the same few companies came up again and again, but which one led changed with the question.

Some things do not split the named sites from the rest. Family owned is 32% against 31%, and years in business runs backwards, 44% against 51%. Master Electrician is 14% against 15%.

The pages for one job split them more: EV chargers 61% against 34%, panel upgrades 72% against 55%, and a review count on the homepage 21% against 6%. Electrician schema is 29% against 23%. The middle named homepage has 805 words and the middle of the rest 659. This is a count from one day, not a cause. It shows that each question reads its own page.

Questions

What people ask about this data.

Where do these electrician numbers come from?
Two of our own runs. On October 2, 2026 we asked Google AI Mode for the best electrician in 60 US cities and saved the names. On October 2, 2026 we tried 516 electrician homepages and read 459. Every share here is counted from those files.
Where do the observed examples come from?
Each of the ten questions was asked word for word in Google AI Mode on October 4, 2026, logged out, with the town set to Abilene, Texas. The example quotes how the answer opened and lists the place cards it showed. That is one town on one day; the same question elsewhere can name other electricians.
Can I quote these numbers?
Yes, free. Name KKV Labs as the source and link this page, so the dates travel with the numbers.
Is an electrician who gets named a better electrician?
No. The names are what one AI answer said on one day. That is not a ranking, and it is not a view on anyone's work.
