Electrician marketing for AI search

When someone asks AI for a licensed electrician near them, it should say your business.

Most electrician marketing sells clicks and shared leads. We sell one position: your business named inside the answer an assistant writes when somebody nearby asks who to hire for a panel, a charger or a breaker that keeps tripping. We measure it in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Mode, on 10 questions agreed with you. $1,000 a month, named by AI in 90 days or every dollar back.

See what it costs

3-month minimum as it takes time to show results, then month to month. One electrical business per city. Screenshots every 30 days.

What we do

Electrician marketing built for one job.

The usual offer in electrical contractor marketing is paid clicks, a landing page and a shared lead feed. None of that decides what an assistant says when somebody describes a panel that keeps tripping and asks who to call. We work on the thing that does: the pages, the listings and the reviews an answer is written from.

That is a different job from electrician SEO, and it is measured differently. Not a click count, not impressions. Ten real customer questions, run in a fresh logged-out session every 30 days, and a count of how many of them name you.

Everything we build to get there, the job pages, the permits page, the cost ranges, the structured data and the corrected listings, is yours to keep whether you stay or not.

Why this industry

A handful of panel jobs covers the year.

Electrical work is bought on trust, because the buyer cannot judge the work and knows it. The business AI names is the one that gets trusted first. Everyone else has to be found some other way.

01

They ask AI first now

45% of US consumers now use ChatGPT or another AI tool to find local business recommendations, up from 6% a year earlier.

02

The question is already being asked

I need a licensed electrician in [city]. Who is good? That question gets answered today, in one paragraph, with two to five names in it. There is no page two.

03

The maths is not close

A handful of panel jobs covers the year. Being in the answer costs $1,000 a month.

How AI decides

What AI reads before it names an electrician.

Licence is the whole question in this trade, so an assistant leans hard on the records it can verify: map listings, review platforms and the public register. These are the ones it reaches for.

  1. 01

    Google Business Profile

Primary category set to electrician, the job list, real hours, service area, photos of finished work, and the questions section seeded with what customers ask on the first call.

  2. 02

    Bing Places

ChatGPT search runs on Bing. Free, quick, and the single most skipped listing in this trade.

  3. 03

    Yelp

Cited in local home services answers. Claim it, correct the hours and service area, and reply to reviews plainly.

  4. 04

    Angi and HomeAdvisor

The profiles get read whether or not you buy leads there. Name, address, phone and job list have to match your website exactly.

  5. 05

    Better Business Bureau

Reached for when the question is about trust and safety, which in this trade it usually is. Claim it and keep the record answered and current.

  6. 06

    Your state licence lookup

The record that matters most here. Find your entry on the state or county electrical licence register, check it is current, then publish the licence number on your site and link straight to the lookup. Licensed electrician is exactly what people ask for, and a number an assistant can check beats an adjective it cannot.

  7. 07

    Nextdoor

Neighbourhood recommendation threads get quoted in local answers. Claim the business page and keep it accurate. Do not post as a resident recommending yourself.

The part most trade marketing misses

Licensed and insured written across a homepage is an adjective, and an assistant cannot check an adjective. A licence number next to a link to the state register is a fact, and facts are what end up inside answers.

Questions

What owners ask before they start.

How is this different from normal electrician marketing?
Traditional electrician marketing sells clicks and shared leads and reports a cost per lead. We sell one measurable position: your business named inside the AI answer for 10 agreed customer questions. If it is not named by day 90, you get every dollar back.
What does electrician marketing cost?
Retainers in the trades commonly run several thousand dollars a month, usually with an ad budget and a per lead fee on top. We charge $1,000 a month with a 3-month minimum as it takes time to show results, then month to month. No setup fee, no ad spend, no lead fees, nothing sold separately.
Is electrician SEO worth it in 2026?
Yes, and the target has moved. Electrician SEO aims at a link and a map pack slot, and a growing share of customers never see either because an assistant answered them in a paragraph first. The work overlaps: a page per job, stated cost ranges, a permits page and fresh reviews help both. We aim it at the written answer and measure whether you get named.
What exactly do you guarantee?
10 customer questions for your services and city, agreed in writing at kickoff. By day 90 your business has to be named in at least 5 of the 10 on at least 2 of the 3 tools we measure: ChatGPT in a fresh logged-out session, Perplexity and Google AI Mode. If we miss, you get 100% of the 3 months back and keep everything we built.
How do you handle licence claims on the site?
We publish only what you give us and what a reader can verify. You supply the licence number, the issuing state or county and the classes it covers, and we put the number on the page next to a link to the public register. We never write that you are licensed for work you have not told us you are licensed for, and we never assert insurance or bonding on your behalf.
Do we have to publish prices?
Ranges, and the diagnostic or call out fee. A panel upgrade range, an EV charger install range, and a sentence about what moves them. An assistant cannot ring you for a quote, so a page that says call for pricing gives it nothing to repeat.
Do you work with more than one electrician in a city?
No. One electrical business per city. The first to sign locks it and we stop pitching that market. If a competitor signed first, we tell you straight away rather than take the engagement.
What do you need from us?
About an hour at kickoff, access to your Google Business Profile and website, your licence number and the register it sits on, your insurance details as you hold them, your service area, your price ranges, and the review kit sent to recent jobs.
