How to check our work.
Citation
Use any figure on this page. We ask for one thing: name the source and link to this page, so a reader can see the date and the method.
- The site sample
- Med spa websites found in each city, then opened and read one by one. We found 1,325 and screened 1,531 of them. This is not a random sample of all US med spas: it is every site we could find in the cities we were looking at, which skews toward small and mid-size markets.
- The three website checks
- Structured data means any schema.org markup on the homepage, in a script tag or in the HTML. Mobile viewport means the viewport meta tag. Copyright year means the most recent year printed in the footer. All three are mechanical, and you can check any of them on any site in about ten seconds.
- The AI answers
- One question per city, asked in Google AI Mode from a fresh logged-out session on September 8, 2026, with the named clinics recorded as given. Answers change. This is a dated snapshot, not a ranking and not an endorsement of any clinic on it.
- What we are not claiming
- Nothing here says a clinic with structured data will be named, or that a named clinic is better than an unnamed one. It says what the market looks like today, and that the easiest signals to fix are the ones most clinics have not fixed.
